1. What is your heart for ministry?
My heart for ministry is to be able to connect with the kids and for them to see my heart in the way that I interact with them and in the way I do ministry. The fact that I'm even in youth ministry is something that I never thought would mean as much to me as it does. My heart is for the kids to be able to have the very best experience possible…both in our services and out. Being a teenager isn't always an easy time, and I feel very lucky to be able to be in a ministry that allows me to be right there with them during that time. I never would have imagined that I'd be in youth ministry, but I thank God that he's given me the opportunity to be a part of something that I've grown to love so much.
2. What music are you currently listening to?
Mute math, Leeland, Colbie Caillat, Hillsong, Rascal Flats, Imogen Heap (I like a wide variety these days...)
3. If you could make a major impact in the world, what would you do?
.) Honestly, if I could make a major impact on the world, I'd do it through youth AND music. I was a Music Major in college, so singing and music have always been very important to me. My dream would be to sing/lead worship for youth conventions, camps, rallies…etc. Basically anything that would allow me to be around youth WHILE I was able to do music would be ideal!...two of my favorite things! Plus, I think music is such a universal language…if it's good music, people will usually listen.
4.Favorite Superhero?My favorite superhero? Really? Well I just don't know. I suppose if I had to pick (which I apparently do for this bio…) I'd say Superman. No, wait….maybe Spiderman. Actually, forget that..I don't have a favorite. It's just too hard to pick. Wait…no, Spiderman. Yes. Spiderman. I just decided.
