Craziest (legal) thing you've ever done: I once worked for a Christian School in Charleston, SC, and wasn’t well liked by the principal. One night I snuck into the school and put Vaseline on the toilet seats in the ladies restroom. She was the first one to sit down the following morning and actually slid off onto the floor. Did I mention she was also crippled? Did I mention she wasn’t real fond of me? Right away she knew who did it and reported me to the Sr. Pastor. I thought for sure I was going to get fired, however, he was so amused by what happened, he let me off the hook. I think he wished that he had done it himself.

Interesting fact that most wouldn't know about you or your family: While on a medical mission trip in Honduras, I was called upon to pull out a man’s tooth. The tooth had become attached to the man’s jawbone. I was the biggest and strongest on the team so I gave it my all. It came out with one massive yank. He then went outside, lay in the grass and moaned for a little while then walked home to his village. I don’t speak Spanish so I’m not sure what he was muttering. Something about hombre blanco estúpido grande … or something like that.

What would you hope to have written on your gravestone (your epitaph) to summarize your life's purpose? "See, I told you I was sick!" (Just kidding) “FAITHFUL”

Testimony: I was raised in Orlando, Florida and experienced a typical American childhood. However, at the age of ten, my parents split up, setting in motion events that would shape my future and destiny. I became a shy, angry and despondent pre-teen. God orchestrated events that put me in a small neighborhood Bible Club where I heard the Gospel for the first time. That day in 1974, I received Jesus as my Savior and determined then and there that I would devote my entire life to serving God in ministry. I began to ride my bike to Calvary Assembly any time the doors were opened.

I am married to my best friend, Margie, and we have a beautiful daughter named Gracie, plus a funny little Maltese named Ziggy.
