Calvary Outreach Center

Volunteers are needed to facilitate this ministry to the poor and needy, Monday through Thursday of each week. Workers are needed in the following areas: Donation Pick-up, Food Pantry, and Clothing Distribution.

Servant Report: People Serving People

From August 17th to 23rd, the Outreach Center served 72 families and 177 homeless. In total, over 376 individuals were served in a 5 1/2 day period. The Calvary Outreach Center is open Monday through Friday, and the “Transitions Ministry” kitchen is open on Sunday. Each week, the Outreach Center staff and volunteers help needy families and individuals by distributing food and clothing. For more information about getting involved, please call (407) 297-3933.

Bike Ministry

This ministry repairs donated bicycles to provide transportation to needy individuals and/or given to a needy family for their children as a gift. Director - Jack Norman

Homeless/Bus Ministry

Each Sunday volunteers transport, feed and escort the homeless to their own Sunday School class, to the Worship Service, and return them to shelters.

Volunteer Coordinator/Special Events

"Christmas in July" provides gifts for needy families. Other events include Appreciation Banquet, Vision Banquet, Thanksgiving Meals, and the Christmas Party.
