At First Steps, we believe that children are a blessing to families and the communities in which they live.  We are dedicated to helping parents "train up their children in the way that they should go."  With this goal in mind, we commit ourselves to reflect God's love through both word and deed in the lives of children.

The teachers at First Steps use a sensitive approach in learning and teaching.  We believe that children begin to learn from birth and that each teacher is a vital part of the learning process.  Staff members understand the ages and stages of development that each child goes through, and they cater attention and teaching techniques accordingly.

We are Certified by the Florida League of Christian Schools (FLOCS #4586) and  Accredited by the Associaton of Christian Teachers and Schools(ACTS).

First Steps Preschool - Director, Peggy Schuneman

Provides the finest mix of education and learning through play for young students. Our efforts are focused on four key areas: spiritual growth, emotional growth, social growth, and intellectual growth.
