Care, Prayer, and Share

Prayer and Share says it all. This is a weekly time for women to come together for fellowship and ministry. The ladies meet during the summer months when the Bible Study is not in session. We meet each Tuesday at 10 AM in Room 106 throughout the summer. Childcare up to 5 years old is available upon request. Please call Cheryl Cope at ext 249.

WOW: Women of the Word

Calling all Women of the Word: WOW Bible study will resume Monday January 9th and Tuesday January 10th. Put the words "Book of revelation" into Google and you get 12,000,000 web pages. Without a doubt this final book of the Bible generates an intense amount of interest, excitement, confusion and controversy. If you simply read the book you probably find more questions than answers. So is a study of Revelation even worth it?

Absolutely! We will begin a new series entitled "Revelation Revealed", being January 9th & 10th and my goal is to keep this study as simple as possible. The best news is that the theme of Revelation is Jesus Christ VICTORIOUS! Join us on our journey through "The Revelation of Jesus Christ". The study will begin for all ladies both on Mondays evening at 7 PM in room 104/108 or Tuesday morning from 10-noon in the gym! Be there if you dare!

Power of a Praying Wife

Ladies, are you concerned about your marriage, your children, your finances, your friends and family? Do you wish you somehow had power to see God's will be done in all your circumstances? Join us as we read The Power of a Praying Wife by Stormie Omartian in an open, discussion based format. Connecting with our Heavenly Father through prayer is the key to seeing His kingdom come in our lives, and as we spend time with Him our perspectives and attitudes are changed as well.

The first meeting of this weekly course will meet on Wednesday August 31st, 2011 at 7:00pm in the House Family Room, Child care provided. Copies of the book will be available for $13.99. Led by Fresia St John, and Saribel Satien

Beth Moore Bible Study

Beth Moore Bible study is back!. We will be studying "James, Mercy Triumphs." James forces us to face the implication of faith. Be inspired to put your faith into action in practical ways as you get to know both the man and the Book of James. Join Beth Moore as she explores such concepts as joy, hardship, faith, wisdom, single-mindedness, the tongue, humility, prayer, and more. The study will be starting Thursday, February 2nd at 10:00 am in room 104/108 thru March 8th, 2011. Cost for the eight week course including the workbook is $18.00. "Fortress" Single Mothers' Ministry

A ministry to Single Moms and their children. Our vision is to give a "hands up" to these mothers and their children by providing spiritual, emotional and practical support. This group meets the first Wednesday evenings of each month at 7:00 pm at Calvary in Room 203 of the Education Building. Moms of Faith

Moms of Faith is a place where Christian Moms and wives can come together to support one another, pray for each other, and build relationships with other like minded women. The goal of Moms of Faith is to provide a place for spiritual growth and discipleship from the garden to the kitchen, and throughout the entire home and lives of the women who visit our site. It is our calling as Christian Moms to bring glory to our Daddy in Heaven through every area of our lives, even "Mount Wash-Me!"
