Women's Ministry

Cheryl Cope

God commands us in His word to "be holy", but what is holiness? What is our part in it? The every day "how" of living a holy life often slips our grasp, as we battle our sin nature inwardly, and a morally polluted world outwardly. Our study this semester, "The Pursuit of Holiness" will help us to see clearly just what we should rely on God to do and what we should accept responsibility for doing ourselves. The good news is that it is a joint adventure with God! This course, taught Rev. Cheryl Cope can guide you toward the joy and commitment of living a life pleasing to our Holy God. Monday night WOW study will be held in Rm. 104-108 from 7:00-8:15 p.m. Tuesday morning WOW study will be held in the gym from 10:00 a.m. -12 noon. If you are in need of child care, please contact Cheryl Cope at 407.644.1199 ext. 249. If you plan to attend, please pick up the book we will use for the study from the Calvary Bookstore.

Beth Moore Bible Study

Ladies, there are now two groups studying Beth Moore's "To Live is Christ." The first group meets on Thursday mornings in Room 104/108, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. For more information about obtaining a workbook and booking child care, please contact Bonnie Pula at pulafamily7@yahoo.com.

"Fortress" Single Mothers' Ministry

A ministry to Single Moms and their children. Our vision is to give a "hands up" to these mothers and their children by providing spiritual, emotional and practical support. A support care group meets each Wednesday evening at 7PM at Calvary in Room 105 of the Education Building. Special events, Mother’s Day Brunch and Christmas party are planned through out the year. Girlfriends

If you enjoy scrap booking, stamping, jewelry making, knitting, quilting, etc. you will love the "Girlfriends" group meeting the 3^rd Saturday each month from 5:00pm in room 100 in the Education Building at Calvary Assembly. Moms of Faith

Moms of Faith is a place where Christian Moms and wives can come together to support one another, pray for each other, and build relationships with other like minded women. The goal of Moms of Faith is to provide a place for spiritual growth and discipleship from the garden to the kitchen, and throughout the entire home and lives of the women who visit our site. It is our calling as Christian Moms to bring glory to our Daddy in Heaven through every area of our lives, even "Mount Wash-Me!"

Small groups specifically for women designed to foster an environment of intimacy and friendship to nurture, train, equip, disciple and mentor women of all ages so they might enjoy wholeness and balance.

A spring seminar and a fall conference which provide times of dynamic worship, compelling teaching, life-changing ministry and unforgettable fellowship. Watch the Events Page for dates, times and location.

The Spring Seminar, The Hope Tour will be on March 6th right here at Calvary. It consist of a team of spirit-filled women of all ages from right here in Pen. FL. During the Spring of 2010 they will invade three separate locations, bringing pockets of hope! Eleven real women, telling real stories, sharing real pain and having real victory. Ladies ages, 14-114, are invited to attend and experience pockets of hope. [Click Here for More Info]

Missions

Mission trips give women the opportunity to see what God sees everyday and allows Him to break our hearts with the things that break His.

Care, Prayer, and Share

The ladies meet during the summer months when the Bible Study is not in session. The purpose is to pray, share and care for the needs of the Body of Christ.
