First Steps Day Care & PreSchool

First Steps Preschool is a ministry of Calvary Assembly of God. It is our belief that children are a gift from God and should be nurtured within biblical standards and practices. It is our desire to assist in the development of whole person, healthy in body, mind, and spirit. By maintaining a positive and stimulating learning environment that challenges and rewards each child, educational excellence can be achieved. Our atmosphere will be full of pleasures and efforts that will children as Jesus did in Luke 5:32, “…Jesus increased in wisdom and stature and in favor with God and man.”

Infants learn trust and security through loving touch and attention received. Toddlers should be encouraged to learn through environmental stimulation and curious exploration. Preschool should include a structured curriculum, accompanied by hands-on learning experiences which promote age appropriate development.

We believe that God has given young children the ability to learn through creativity and diversity. First Steps displays this belief through dramatic play, creative art, literacy awareness, mathematic concepts and science activities. We rejoice as each child gains new understanding and experience.

First Steps Daycare

Provides the finest quality center care for working parents. Our childcare houses Infants and Toddlers ages six weeks through two years.

First Steps Preschool

Provides the finest mix of education and learning through play for young students. Our efforts are focused on four key areas: spiritual growth, emotional growth, social growth, and intellectual growth.

VPK Program First Steps is a participant in the Florida Voluntary Pre-K program for K4 students. Our VPK hours are Monday through Friday, 9 AM through 12 PM.
