Children's Ministry
Sunday Mornings
Sunday School
This takes place every Sunday at 9am. If you like to work in small groups, this is a great place for you. Teachers and assistants serve weekly.PreK & K Ministries
This ministry operates on a rotation. Children are placed into 4 groups that will rotate through each class. There is a Bible Room, Praise & Worship Room, Craft Room and Snack Room. Curriculum is provided for the teacher. Teachers and assistants serve anywhere between once a month to more.Launch Pad 7
This ministry is geared towards children in 1st – 5th grade. This is a high energy service with many facets; from praise and worship, puppets, skits, object lessons and more. Launch Pad 7 Volunteer Team Members serve anywhere between once a month to more.Access Kids
This ministry is geared towards children in K4 – 5th grade with a small group breakout for those in 4th and 5th grade. This service includes many things including crafts, snack, praise and worship, object lessons and more. Access Volunteer Team Members serve anywhere between once a month to more.Wednesdays
Kidz Xplosion
This mid-week Kidz Club will be like none other! Your K4 - 5th grader will want to make sure they're here at 7:00pm to cheer on their team of Firecrackers, Dynamites and Rockets. Kidz Xplosion is broken down into 3 groups:
Firecrackers (K-1st grade)
Rockets (2nd-3rd grade)
Dynamites (4th-5th grade)
Each Wednesday will start off with an "Xplosion" as groups rotate to participate in each of our 3 awesome rooms with everyone coming back together for a great end to the night! For more information on how you and/or your child can be involved, please call 407.644.1199, ext. 279.
Gathering Room
This room allows child on Wednesday nights to gather together for pre-service socializing. Teachers come and pick up their classes from here. Volunteers in this room can serve anywhere between once a month to more.Other
Baby Dedications
Here at Calvary, we do not practice "infant Baptism." However, we do practice what is called "Child Dedication." This is a ceremony in which the child is offered in dedication to the Lord. The parents and extended family are admonished to raise the child to know and love God, and to model a godly lifestyle.
Buddy Break & Make 'M Smile
This ministry is designed to give respite to families with special needs. Buddy Break meets one designated Saturday each month from 10:00am – 1:00pm with activities for VIP Kids. VIP kids are kids who have any physical, cognitive, medical or hidden disability, chronic or life-threatening illness, or are medically fragile. Buddies are teamed up with a VIP Kid to participate in that day’s activities. Buddy Break is open to Calvary and non-Calvary members. Make ‘m Smile is an annual community event dedicated to celebrating VIP kids (kids with special needs). Join the Buddy Stroll where VIP kids and Buddies (those who come to be a friend to a VIP) are "buddied up" for a friendship stroll around Lake Eola. Enjoy the FREE family activities including theme park characters, clowns, face painting, petting zoo, great music, food, over 100 great community resources for VIP families, and more!
